Our Footcare Treatments

A personal footcare nurse completes the daily tasks that allow for the treatment and prevention of foot health issues related to diabetes and other diseases.

Providing services to the Toronto and Durham regions.

We recommend scheduling a 15-minute consultation  before making an appointment. Depending on the consultation you receive, prices may vary.

Initial Assessment - from $65+ tax

Each appointment will take approximately minimum 35 min starting from $65+ plus tax. This service includes:

Comprehensive initial assessment on the patient’s health and current foot condition
Develop an individualized treatment plan to best treat your specific condition
Care for the toenails and address any warts, callouses or corns
Care for ingrown toenails prevention and trimming to help avoid more serious issues such as pain and infection
Help identify any existing problems while providing recommendations for future care
Foot massage (5 mins each foot) with gentle pressure and/or deeper massage in circular motions
Follow-Up Visits - from $45+ tax

Based on initial assessment and maintenance that will occur every 6-8 weeks. Each appointment will take approximately minimum 20 min starting from $45+ plus tax. This service includes:

Assessment of the condition of your feet on a daily basis while checking for any inflammation, bruising, cuts, or blisters for daily care
Provide the education you need to properly care for your feet on a continuum
May recommend products such as emollients, dressings, felt pads or silicone devices

Any additional services upon client request (prices will vary).

Who we are

In 2014, JS Footcare & Wellness was founded and championed based on the needs and gaps of footcare management in seniors.

During the pandemic, JS Footcare & Wellness continues to identify the risks and progressive issues of unattended foot health and diseases.

At JS Footcare & Wellness a Certified Footcare Nurse with training on skin and nail conditions of the foot will provide assessment, treatment and continued management of skin and toenail concerns.

Additionally, since 2022, in partnership with Unicity, we have provided our clients with nutritional and health products in support to their health.

These valuable services and products will benefit those who have varied foot conditions related to arthritis, diabetes and other illnesses.

Our mission is to bridge the gap in your overall foot health by providing professional and advanced footcare in the comfort of your home.

Issues such as diabetes and arthritis create health concerns related to the function and comfort of the feet.

A personal foot care nurse is specially trained to provide the services you or a loved one needs for long-term health and wellbeing.

As a Certified Footcare Nurse I have training in skin and nail conditions of the foot.

I am fully qualified to assess and manage skin and toenail concerns specifically diabetic foot. I provide valuable services that benefit those who have foot conditions related to diabetes and other illnesses.
